Ruakura Substation

The Ruakura Superhub Substation is a critical facility designed to supply power to the growing commercial and industrial developments in the area. The project involved the installation of high-voltage electrical systems and the distribution infrastructure necessary to support the site’s operations.

Facility & Electrical Scope:

• Main Switchboard (MSB-1): Connected to a 150kVA transformer that feeds the site with approximately 250 amps of power. The transformer is located on-site for efficient distribution.
• Power Distribution: The power from MSB-1 is distributed via a local distribution board housed within MSB-1, ensuring reliable power supply throughout the site.
• Distribution Boards (DBs):
  • DB-1: Located inside MSB-1 for site-wide power distribution.

Additional Electrical Systems:

• Electrical design and installation for the site’s operational needs, including lighting, power circuits, and equipment integration.
• Provision of emergency and backup power systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
