The Refrigafreighters Coldstore project involved the development of a large-scale cold storage facility that caters to the logistics and distribution needs of the region. The project included the installation of electrical systems for refrigeration, lighting, power, and security, ensuring the facility operates efficiently and safely.

Facility & Electrical Scope:

• Main Switchboard (MSB-1): Powered by a 500kVA transformer, supplying the facility with approximately 700 amps of power for all operational needs.

  • DB-1: Located inside MSB-1 for main power distribution.
  • DB-2: Located in the Equipment & Logistics Area (ELA) to service specific areas of the facility.
  • DB-3: Located in the office for general building needs.
  • DB-4: Located in the yard area for external and future expansion needs.
• Refrigeration & HVAC Systems:
  • This is provided on a design-build basis, ensuring the electrical system is tailored to the refrigeration specifications.
• Security and Lighting Systems:
  • Installation of interior and exterior lighting to ensure the safety of personnel and goods stored in the facility.
  • Security systems integrated with the lighting for enhanced protection of the premises.
