It was granted resource consent under the Covid-19 Fast Track Consenting Act in 2022, which expedited its approval process. This priority development features critical marine and public infrastructure, including a commercial wharf, a pontoon, a public boat ramp, and haulage access.
Key Features & Electrical Scope:
- Main Switchboard (MSB): Installed in a marine-grade pillar, ensuring durability against marine elements.
- Street Lighting: 6 street lights installed for the public access carpark and road, providing safety and visibility for visitors.
- Pontoon Lighting: 6 pole-mounted lights installed on the floating pontoon to illuminate the area for evening and nighttime use.
- Power Pillar Boxes: 6 power pillar boxes distributed across the floating pontoon to supply power for boat users and other facilities.
- Security Systems: Electrical and lighting provisions were made for security systems, including lighting control and integration with the marina’s security infrastructure.
- Electrical Inspections & Certifications: Our team performed marine electrical inspections and provided certifications to ensure compliance with all regulations.
This project highlights Elektron’s commitment to excellence in both design and execution, ensuring that all electrical systems are fully integrated and functional.
